QUEENS SOUNDS FESTIVAL 2022

#EmpowerOurQueens
​“The first official Queens Sounds festival is to promote minorities in the music industry and encourage diversity and inclusivity. This will be a fun night of diverse acts of the female and lgbtq+ community with raffles, drag queens, merch and other charities present. The event will be held on the 11th of October, 19:30pm at the Water Bear Venue on Brighton seafront.”

Our HOst fOr The evening

Ophelia Payne! A regular on the Brighton cabaret scene, singer, host, aerial performer and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. Top 2 Finalist at the Brighton Big Drag Pageant 2022 and Ambassador for MindOut. Ophelia is quick, funny and will have you on your feet dancing in no time. ​

Bentley jones

Welcome our headliner for the evening: Bentley Jones is a recording artist, producer, composer, performer and lyricist. After headlining the Tokyo Bon Festival, Bentley gained acclaim for live events including Miami Beach Pride ("an LGBTQ+ icon") and Global Pride ("f*****g amazing") which was seen by over 57M viewers.

Babyllon

Babyllon has been nominated in the recording academy awards and has had sessions with Grammy Winning producers. With over 20 years experience as a songwriter, they have has toured both nationally and internationally. One of top 10 female guitarists you should know - Guitar World Magazine

Hunting hearts

Metal front woman, describes herself as kind & caring, but isn’t afraid to fight. She is autistic & uses her experiences in life & living with disabilities to fuel her music. Her music tells the story of a girl dealing with heartbreak, loss and struggles & her rise from the ashes and rebirth into a powerful woman.

LUCY JONES

From Brighton, she has over fifteen years vocal experience under her belt. Focusing on the genres of old school soul, RnB and pop, Lucy has experience in many facets of vocal/music performance and live performance, most recently featuring in the Arts Council England production The Posh Club.
